Comment by Liza Béar on November 27, 2008 at 8:27am: This photo (video still?) was taken at 93 Grand Street in the early 70s. It was a ground floor live/work loft space and our base of operations for Avalanche from 1971 to 1976. (Before that we worked out of 204 East 20th Street). Chelsea Space published an essay that I wrote with Willoughby entitled "The Early History of Avalanche" in the catalogue for their Avalanche show in 2005.
