What a profoundly moving life you have had - always in the same direction focused on the artists as Dennis so poignently says. Your absence will be felt. No one can forget the sight of your tall and angular frame or the meaning of your passionate engagement. Humbly I consider myself a friend and thank you for your kindness and encouragment. What a sweet character you are. Having known you for nearly 30 years is to have known a certain essential element of the life of art and the art of life in this small area we call downtown Manhattan.
